Add an establishment to a non-individual taxpayer

This part of the guide explains how to add an establishment and how to link a contact and an activity to a non-individual (enterprise) taxpayer.

The type of enterprise displayed in the Enterprise Type column is configured by the tax administration. Therefore, providing the non-individual taxpayer's TIN is unknown and required for the user’s query, he will have to use the Enterprise Type column to find the type of enterprise he is looking for.

The following example demonstrates how to add an establishment to a Corporate type of non-individual taxpayer. This procedure is standardized and applies also all the other types of non-individual taxpayers as determined by the tax administration.

Step 1 - Go to the page List of Taxpayers

  1. Go to the Tax Roll module;
  2. Choose the Taxpayers menu. This action opens the List of Taxpayers page (501:9000);

Step 2 - Choose the taxpayer

  1. Go to the Criteria section;
  2. Choose the Enterprise option;
  3. Go to the Enterprise Type column;
  4. Choose the option of your choice;
  5. Find the enterprise you want to add the establishment to;
  6. Click on the TIN of the non-individual subject of the request. This action opens the Non-Individual page (501:2012);

Step 3 - Link an establishment to a non-individual taxpayer

  1. Go to the Establishments section;
  2. Click the Create button. This action opens the Establishment page (501:2001);
  3. Go to the Establishment Information section;
  4. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Establishment Name, Start Date, etc.;

Step 4 - Add an establishment address

  1. Go to the Addresses section;
  2. Choose the National address option;
  3. Click the Edit button. This action opens the pop-up window Address;
  4. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Country, Region, etc.;
  5. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the address of the establishment and updates the Establishment page (501:2001);

If necessary, add an international address:

  1. Choose the International address option;
  2. Click the Edit button. This action opens the pop-up window Address (for an international address);
  3. Enter the address in the field International address;
  4. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the establishment's international address and updates the Establishment page (501:2001);

Step 5 - Add a business activity to an establishment

When a Business chooses its business activity(ies) (Tax Roll - Taxpayers - List of Taxpayers - Enterprise - Non-Individual - Business - Business Activities), Sigtas now automatically creates a filter that only displays the activities chosen at the Business level in the Establishments tab.

  1. Go to the Business Activities section;
  2. Click the Create button. This action opens the pop-up window Business Activity;
  3. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Business Activity, Start Date, etc.;
  4. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the activity to the establishment and updates the Establishment page (501:2001).

Step 6 - Add an establishment contact

  1. Go to the Contacts section;
  2. Click the Create button. This action opens the pop-up window Contacts;
  3. Choose the Contact Type using the radio buttons;
  4. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Name, Title, etc.;
  5. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the contact to the establishment and updates the Establishment page (501:2001);
