Cancel a transaction

This part of the guide explains how to cancel a transaction.

The cancellation of a transaction (whether it be manual or transfer) is only possible when its status displays In progress or Pending Final Approval. Once the transaction has been canceled, its status changes to Cancelled.

The following example demonstrates how to cancel a manual transaction with a In Progress status. This procedure is standardized and applies also to transfer transactions.

Step 1 - Go to the page List of Manual and Transfer Transactions

  1. Go to the Tax Account module;
  2. Click on the Manual and Transfer Transactions menu. This action opens the List of Manual and Transfer Transactions page (503:2010);

Step 2 - Cancel a transaction

  1. Using the radio buttons, select the Manual Transaction option. This action updates the page and displays the manual transactions;
  2. Go to the column Transaction Status;
  3. Select the In Progress. This action displays all manual transactions with this status;
  4. Search the manual transaction to cancel;
  5. Check the Transaction No. box subject of the request;
  6. Click the Cancel button. This action opens the Confirmation window;
  7. Add a Comment;
  8. Click the Save button. This action confirms the cancellation of the manual transaction, changes the status to Cancelled and updates the List of Manual and Transfer Transactions page (503:2010).
