Change or remove a plate type

This topic explains how to change or delete a plate type.

Only one plate type can have the check box selected. To define another type of custom plate, you first have to change the type of plate that has the box checked, and uncheck it.

Step 1 - Go to the List of Plate Types page

1. Go into the Motor Vehicle module;
2. Click on the menu Plate Types. The List of Plate Types page (504:2009) is displayed.

Step 2 - Change the type of plate

3. Find the plate type required;
4. Click on the "pencil" icon associated with the plate type. The Plate Type pop-up window is displayed;

5. Make the necessary changes;
6. Click the Save button to confirm the action and go back to the List of Plate Types page (504:2009) or Save and Create to confirm the action and add another type.

Step 3 - Delete plate type

7. In the Plate Type pop-up window, click the Delete button.
