Add a step to an objection case

This part of the guide explains how to add a step to an objection case. It also describe how to associate a document to the step, when required.

Make sure the objection case is open by verifying there is no date in the Closed Date column on the page List of Objection Cases in step 2. In some cases, the user must associate a document to the step before it can be confirmed. So, when the user selects the step to add to the objection case in the pop-up window Add Step to a Case, the Document button is displayed. Otherwise, as soon as the Objection Step and the Start Date have been completed, the user simply clicks on the Save button to confirm the addition of the step, without having to add a document.

Step 1 - Go to the page List of Objection Cases

  1. Go to the Objection module;
  2. Choose the Objection Cases menu. This action opens the List of Objection Cases page (550: 2001);

Step 2 - Add a step to an objection case

  1. Find the objection case for which you want to add a step to;
  2. Click the hyperlink of the Objection No. subject of the request. This action opens the Objection Case page (550:1001);
  3. Go to the Steps section;
  4. Click the Create button. This action opens the pop-up window Add Step to a Case;
  5. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Objection Step, Start Date, etc.;
  6. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the step and updates the Objection Case page (550:1001);

Step 3 - Add a document to a step

  1. Go to the Documents section;
  2. Click the Create button. This action opens the pop-up window Add Document to a Step;

  1. Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Document No.;
  2. Click on the Save button. This action adds the document to the step, updates the pop-up window Add Step to a Case and redirects you to the pop-up window Add step to a Case;
  3. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the step and updates the Objection Case page (550:1001).
