Docs & Files Module

This guide is intended primarily for the user of SIGTAS. It details the procedures and functionalities enabling to register, modify or delete documents and files. It also explains how to link documents to a file or borrow and return files.

This module is composed of several large sections. Each section is treated individually and presents the main functionalities of the component. This page displays all the functionalities available in the Docs & Files module. The display order of the sections corresponds to that of SIGTAS (left section of the home menu).

In order to lighten the content of the guides, the following sections do not document the procedures for closing, modifying, and deleting, since they apply the same way to all pages. However, these functionalities are described in more detail in the Close, Edit, and Delete section of the About SIGTAS guide.

Reports

SIGTAS provides users with a series of interactive reports making it possible to generate data according to various parameters. To learn how to generate and print interactive reports, click the following link: Reports

To access the reports:

  1. Go to the Docs & Files module;
  2. Choose the Reports option;
  3. Click on the report of your choice.

The reports of the Docs & Files module are:

  1. Document Details. This report is used to print document details;
  2. List of Requested/Borrowed Files. This interactive report displays requested or borrowed files based on various search criteria, such as File No, Employee Name, etc. (5010:3002);
  3. Print List of Documents. This report is used to print the list of documents based on various search criteria, such as Tax Type, Document Type, etc. (510:3003);
  4. Print List of Files. This interactive report displays the list of files based on various criteria, such as the TIN, Tax Type, etc. (510:3004).
