Create a letter or reminder

This guide segment explains how to create a letter or reminder. It mounts how to assign properties to it and translate the titles and subtitles of a letter or reminder.

SIGTAS allows the administrator to translate the titles or subtitles of a letter into the local language of his choice. When this is the case, a dynamic icon to the right of the field to be translated indicates that a translation is possible. For translation instructions, click on the following link: Translate from translation pop-up.

Step 1 - Go to the List of Letter and Reminders page

  1. Go to the Administration module;
  2. Choose the option Base Tables;
  3. Select the option Document/letter;
  4. Click on the Letters/Reminders menu. This opens the List of Letters and Reminders page (509:15680);

    Step 2 - Create a letter or reminder

  5. Click the Create button. This action opens the Letter/Reminder page (509:15681);
  6. Complete the required fields;
  7. Click on the Save button. This action confirms the creation of the letter, assigns a number to the new letter, and refreshes the page List of letters and reminders (509:15681);

Step 3 - Assign properties to a letter or callback

  1. Go to the Details section;
  2. Click on the Properties tab;
  3. Enter a tax Type and add instructions, if necessary;
  4. Click the Save button. This action confirms the addition of the properties to the letter or reminder;

Step 4 - Translate titles or subtitles

  1. Click on the Dictionary tab;
  2. Click the Create button. This action opens the Translation pop-up window;
  3. Complete the required fields (identified with a red star *). For example, Column name, Language, etc.;
  4. Click the Save button. This action refreshes the page page Letter/reminder (509:15681).
