Create a balance sheet element

This part of the guide explains how to create a balance sheet element.

Step 1 - Go to the page List of Balance Sheet Elements

  1. Go to the Administration module;
  2. Choose the Base Tables option;
  3. Select the Balance Sheet option;
  4. Click the Balance Sheet Elements menu. This action opens the List of Balance Sheet Elements page (509:8001);

Step 2 - Create a balance sheet element

  1. Click the Create button. This action opens the Balance Sheet Element page (509:8002);
  2. Go to the Balance Sheet Element Information section;
  3. Fill out the required fields (identified with a red star *). For example, Element Code, Element Desc.; etc.;
  4. Click the Save button. This action confirms the creation of the balance sheet element and displays the List of Sub-Elements section;
  5. Go to the List of Sub-Elements section;
  6. Click the Create button. This action opens the Balance Sheet Element popup window;
  7. Fill out the required fields (identified with a red star *). For example, Element Code, Element Desc.; etc.;
  8. Click the Save button. This action confirms the creation of the sub-element and updates the Balance Sheet Element page (509:8002);
  9. Click the Save button. This action updates the List of Balance Sheet Elements page (509:8001).
