Edit the rules of motor vehicles

This section explains how to change the rules for motor vehicles.

Step 1 - Go to the Motor Vehicle Rules page

1. Go into the Motor Vehicle module
2. Click on the Rules menu. The Motor Vehicle Rules page (504:2015) is displayed;

Step 2 - Change the rules

3. To apply the charges pro-rata, check the box Prorated Fees;
4. To choose to whom the vehicle's plate is assigned, select the appropriate radio button;
5. Enter the desired number in the field Maximum Characters for a plate;
6. Click the Save button to save changes.
