Create a type of plate

This topic explains how to create a plate type.

Only one plate type can have the check box Personalized Plate selected. To define another type as a personalized plate, you first have to edit the plate type that has the box checked, and uncheck it.

Step 1 - Go to the List of Plate Types page

1. Go into the Motor Vehicle module;
2. Click on the menu Plate Types. The List of Types Plate page (504:2009) is displayed.

Step 2 - Create a type of plate

3. Click the Create button. The Plate Type pop-up window is displayed.

4. Enter the description of the plate type in the Plate Type Description field.
5. Check the box Personalized Plate if necessary.
6. Click the Save button to confirm the action and return to the List of Plate Types page (504:2009) or Save and Create to confirm the action and add another type.
