Delete a status linked to a procedure

This segment of the guide explains how to remove the status associated with a procedure. Worfklow does not allow status deletion when the procedure is at Initial Status (the Delete button is not available). However, the system administrator can delete the status associated with a procedure:

  • When the procedure has not been Validated & Confirmed (the Validated & Confirmed column is unchecked). Once the procedure is confirmed, the pen-icon to access the List of Procedure Status pop-up window is not available;
  • When the status is not used in the Maintain Tasks screen (604:3002).
Step 1 - Go to the Maintain Procedures page
  1. Go to the Procedure Information page;
  2. Click on Maintain Procedures. This opens the Maintain Procedures page (604:2003);

Step 2 - Delete the status associated with a procedure
  1. Go to the List Of Procedures section;
  2. Find the procedure requiring status removal;
  3. Click on the desired line (the line becomes gray);
  4. Go to the section List Of Possible Status for this Procedure;
  5. Click on the pen-icon of the status being modified. This action opens the List of Procedure Status page;

  1. Click on Delete. This action opens the confirmation window;

  1. Click on Yes. This action confirms the deletion and updates the Maintain Procedures page (604:2003).
