Create an audit group
This part of the guide explains how to create an audit group and link it to an audit case.
Audit group allows agent or officer to process several audit cases simultaneously. Once the audit group has been registered, SIGTAS assigns a unique audit group number and displays the Audit Case section making it possible to create a new case. The audit cases created on this page are also displayed in the List of Audit Case page (505:2004).
Step 1 - Go to page List of Audit Groups
- Go to the Audit module;
- Choose the Audit Case option;
- Click the Audit Groups menu. This action opens the List of Audit Groups page (505:2003);
Step 2 - Create an audit group
- Click the Create button. This action opens the Audit Group page (505:1003);
- Go to the Audit Group section;
- Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Audit Group Open Date, Audit Group Description, etc.;
- Click the Save button. This action confirms the creation of the audit group and assigns a unique group number;
- Click the Create button on the lower section. This action opens the Audit Case page (505:1004);
- Go to the Audit Case top section;
- Enter the TIN;
- Go to the Audit Case lower section;
- Fill out the required fields (identified by a red asterisk *). For example, Audit Program, Location Type, etc.;
- Click the Save button. This action confirms the creation of the audit case, assigns an audit case number and associates the audit group to the audit case.
